Student news readership program
The Wall Street Journal student newspaper readership program is open to young people interested in the paper's reporting and articles. Barron's Far Eastern Economic Review and SmartMoney also serve as sister publications. Students can sign up for a 1-year subscription which costs $15 per annum.
The Student Affairs budget funds the program and provides digital subscriptions to both the New York Times & Wall Street Journal for students. The new subscription program also includes videos and podcasts. In addition, the program has been expanded to include the Commonwealth campuses. The printed newspaper will continue to be available for the upcoming academic year, but eventually will become completely digital.

UT Permian Basin membership
Alumni and students from UT Permian Basin have the opportunity to receive a special Wall Street Journal subscription. This subscription will automatically be granted to students after they have set up their UTPB email account. The College of Business, J. Conrad Dungan Library are responsible for the subscription.
The UT Permian Basin male tennis team has 15 players, and a head coach. Although the team's net profit averages $30,581 annually in revenue, it is worth noting some sports can lose money. The salary of the head coach for the men's basketball team is $67780, and that of the head coach for women's soccer team is $46,867.

UT Permian Basin students will soon be able to take advantage of a subscription to the Wall Street Journal for students. After they set up their UTPB email account, they will be able to access the magazine. Subscribe to the magazine through the College of Business or the J. Conrad Dungan Library.
The conference will include speakers from the industry such as Mitch Mamoulides who is the Midland and Delaware Basin Area Manager for Chevron, Chuck Yates, managing Director of Kayne Anderson Capital Advisors LP and Jefferson G. Parker who is managing director at IberiaBank Corp. John Fund, who is a member the Wall Street Journal Editorial Board, will be speaking at the conference. Travis Stice of Diamondback Energy is also a speaker; Kyle M. Hammond of FireWheel Energy is the CEO; Bryan Sheffield of Parsley Energy is Parsley Energy's director of NGL analyses at AES water Solutions; Stan Weiner of Stan Weiner will be there.

UT Permian Basin academic collaboration program with Wall Street Journal
The UT Permian Basin has announced its partnership with the Wall Street Journal. Through the partnership, UTPB students will be eligible to receive an exclusive subscription to the Wall Street Journal once they receive their UTPB email account. This partnership was made possible by the College of Business as well as the J. Conrad Dungan Library.
The partnership will bring benefits to patients, nurses, students and even the entire healthcare system. The partnership will enable nursing students to learn advanced techniques as well as new medical equipment. Students will gain real-world experience by combining two of the most prominent healthcare organizations.
